Sold as a pair. Used to help support the litter (stretcher) by spreading some of the weight to the shoulders. Medics treated the wounded, and tried to get them out of the immeidate line of fire, but many litter bearers were regular troops detailed to help. 48" (122cm) long when fully extended.
