New sweatband for US WWII steel helmets. ATF had the 100% cotton HBT webbing and hardware custom made to their specs, (copied from unissued WWII samples) and they die cut the leather strips and assemble them in their shop. Hardware is olive drab. These are indistinguishable from unissued originals. The new generation is now has correct original maker mark and code.ATF has had several runs of HBT tape over the years. ´They have made both SHBT and THBT webbing (single & triple weave). The sweatbands are mixed, just like originals and we don't offer a choice of HBT webbing weaves. None of them is more or less "correct" than another.Made in USA, manufactured by ATF
