In 1943, a web sling was introduced as a replacement for the leather M1907 sling. They were cheaper, simpler to use and could be adjusted more quickly. Length is adjusted via a simple slide and then locked in place by a compression fitting. Made from OD no. 3 shade cotton webbing, with correct WWII pattern hardware. They are approximately 48" (122cm) long when fully opened. The slings will fit most weapons with 1.25" (3,1cm) or larger sling loops, including Garands, Springfields, Thompsons, BAR's and M3 "Grease Guns".Made in USA, manufactured by ATF
